Hokkaido University Museum looks like a very solid brick building from the outside. It is the earliest real reinforced concrete building in Sapporo. It is used in the field of education such as university. So we can see how much Japanese value education. Since its construction, the building has been the school building of the Department of Science. It was later rebuilt into a museum with a huge specimen of mammoth, which is the treasure of the town hall. I wanted to see this huge mammoth, but unfortunately, when I went that day, I happened to encounter a closure, so I had to go around the campus.
