The Yang Family Temple Review

Yangjia Temple, also known as "Yang's Ancestral Hall", was built in Qingdao Guang 16 years, in 1836, is a place of worship, discussion and other Yang clan people, sitting south and north, the whole rectangular, covering an area of 770 square meters. Yangjia Temple is located on the north side street of Lijiang Town, the ancient city of Phoenix, at the entrance of Shijia Lane, between the East Gate City Building and the North Gate City Building. The hall is a typical courtyard building, relatively speaking, there are not many things to see, but the windows, doors, and decorations are not conspicuous, which are hollow carved, with distinctive national characteristics. The temple was once the site of the Phoenix County Government, and now there is a red star on the top of the gate, which has a prominent sense of age. The temple of Phoenix is the largest in the Tian and Yang families, and the temple of Yangjia is also the best protected temple in Phoenix. The ancestral temple worships the genealogical order of the loyal family, which witnesses the heroic family history of the Yang family's loyalty to serve the country and die for the country. At the beginning of the liberation, the temple served as the office of the Fenghuang County Government. The three big characters "Fenghuang County" above the lintel outside the gate are still clearly visible.
