Tongji University has a long history and a reputation. It is one of the earliest national universities in China. The elm trees around the big lawn are almost the oldest trees on Tongji campus. Tongji University, Metro Line 2, Line 10, steps out and takes the main entrance of Siping Road. The first entrance is the statue of Chairman Mao standing, and the second entrance is the South Building and the North Building of the teaching building. The most attractive Cherry Blossom Avenue is located in the southwest of the campus, near the school gate of Chifeng Road, on both sides of the main road leading to Tongjin Campus. During the peak period of cherry appreciation in mid and late March, the avenue is full of cherry appreciation crowd from inside and outside the school, and there will be security personnel in it. The petals on the branches of the cherry blossom season are sparkling and translucent. In the distance, there is a sea of pink flowers. When a gust of wind blows, there will be petals falling with the wind, and the ground is covered with pink petals. There are photographers everywhere (students, citizens, professional photographers, graduates, etc.). Occasionally, they meet Cosplay clubs on campus to take photos. In addition, the trees on the edge of Cherry Blossom Avenue are covered with wish bars. Cherry blossom period is very short, especially the blooming period, only unusual, will be more imaginative, more people will have and cherish the feeling. In addition, the Peace Tower, Wenyuan Tower and Mingcheng Tower in spring are also the characteristics of Tongji University.
