The St. Mark Clock Tower is an early Renaissance building in Venice. It is located on the north side of St. Mark's Square, at the entrance of Merceria. It consists of a tower with a clock in the middle and lower buildings on both sides. It is adjacent to the eastern end of Procuratie Vecchie. The history of towers and clocks dates back to the end of the 15th century. Its bell can be seen from the lagoon waters, making everyone aware of Venice's wealth and glory. It's a beautiful clock. It's said that we didn't wait to see it when two Moors hit the bell at the top of the clock.
