Tower of London Review

When we finished our tour on the Thames River, we went ashore to the Tower of London. We traded the one-day tour ticket for tickets to the scenic spots and entered the old castle, which is situated on the Thames River and covers an enormous area. The castle, which was listed as a world cultural heritage in 1988, was once the castle of the British Royal family. At first it was the palace of the Royal family. Later, it was used for various purposes, such as fortresses, armouries, prisons and prisons. Of course, it became a haunted place because of the detention of the abolished king. Because there are many towers in the castle named the Tower of London. At first we thought it was a tall tower, but the result was a castle surrounded by several towers. After entering the castle, we visited several towers along the outer walls, arranged some pictures and texts related to the palace in the limited open space of the interior, and made some interactive models in some places. In a word, there are many factors of artificial landscaping here, so it seems rather boring. In the Tower of London, tourists lined up in a long queue of tall and ancient buildings known as "Treasure Hall" and we waited in line to enter the room to see Royal crowns and other symbols of Royal power. The waiting time in the queue coincides with the performance of the job-changing ceremony. The simple ceremony also attracts the attention of many tourists. In this castle, staff wear ancient British clothes, or regularly lead tourists to explain visits, or give visitors some questions and explanations. It is also a good way to alleviate queuing boredom by queuing indoors and starting to look at pictures and videos. Then I saw the Royal Crown and gold and silver jewelry and other appliances. Photographs are strictly prohibited in the room. Electric escalators are arranged before the exhibits. It is impossible for tourists to stop. Finally, the crown worn by Elizabeth II when she came to power in 1953 is the crown left by Elizabeth I. The 530.2-carat diamond "African Star" inlaid on the scepter is the most beautiful and super-shining diamond in the world. After a time-consuming visit to the Crown Showroom, we visited the Weapons Museum in a nearby building called the White Tower. The White Tower is the oldest building in the Tower of London. It is located in the center of the castle. It has a chapel and a Royal Armament Exhibition. Besides the delicate armor worn by ancient knights, it also sees the display of ancient swords extending to modern guns. Although they are all used or collected by the British Royal family, they seem to have little attraction for us, because we can only take a look at them in the light of time.
