The old library of St. Trinity College is a landmark building in Dublin. It has a history of more than 300 years and is the pride of St. Trinity University. The famous Kells Holy Book is a handbook of clay and gold decoration. Two volumes of it will be displayed on the first floor at the same time. Photographs are strictly forbidden here. The librarian's hall on the second floor is about 65 meters long. It shocks nearly 200,000 of the oldest books in the library. It also shows the oldest Harp in Ireland and the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Ireland in 1916. Photographs can be taken here but flashes are prohibited. Up to now, there are nearly three million books in the eight buildings of the library.
