Tumgun Lookout Review

Easy walk on the boardwalk, undulating ups and downs, even spotted a kookaburra which makes any trip to Australia worthwhile. Some interesting fauna which I haven''t identified yet. Scenic even on a dull day.

Across the entrance of the small river and south to Coolongatta. A nice platform with a bench behind, or a short distance from Burleigh Beach, you will find a more secluded bench peeping at the leaves, and you can find a closer Tumgum Lookout along the Ocean View Lookout track. Cape Berry National Park. If you are approaching from the head of Burleigh, it is a quick climb from some stairs to the elevated track, or a long, steady climb from the side of Talebugira (Tallebudgerra). As a national park you may encounter wildlife and I am happy to meet a koala crossing my path

Such a lovely area, we went for a walk as recommended to me. A lovely gentle walk through the park and slightly tilted to the butobservatories, but worth a look. Make sure you turn right to the monitoring point.
