A pretty temple with hospitable abbot and monksI had visited this temple for many years since my mature adult days each time I was in Chiang Ma.The Abbot and monks speak english and makes a good effort to welcome and chat with visitors. It is a quiet temple off the busy road and a good place to sit and meditate if one wants to do so. It is also known as the Jade Buddha temple. I had witness the carving of the Jade Buddha statue at the temple in the earlier days by a craftsman.The murals on the walls are beautiful.A must visit if in Chiang Mai.Take a red taxi to Tapae Gate and get down at the Amorae Tapae Hotel and walk through the lane between the hotel and school.

It is enshrined Phra Singh Yok. Buddha statue made of real natural jade meat, Jadeite (Jes Dai), Commercial Jade type (Comme Jade), Wat U Sai Kham was built by a refugee ubaka.

Beautiful temple, accidentally found it on the map. Here there are 7 jade Buddha statues made of 7 kinds of jade.
