Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is a famous Buddhist summer resort in Thailand. It is a legendary temple built by the white elephant and the Royal family. It is one of the three main temples in Chiang Mai (Passing Temple and Great Buddha Pagoda Temple) and the commanding point of Chiang Mai. The golden Pagoda in the Buddhist temple still worships the Buddha's relics and attracts believers from all over the world to make pilgrimages every year. The temple was built during the Lana Dynasty in 1383. Legend has it that the location of the temple was chosen by an elephant who stopped at it. There are more than 300 stone steps. You can walk up the hill or take a bike or a group.
