The Pure Silver Monastery, Sisu Bang Monastery, also known as "Silver Monastery" in the market on Saturday, was built in 1502. It is a very unique temple in Chiang Mai. There is a Buddhist hall made of all silver in the monastery, which is shining with silver. The exterior walls of the temple are artificially carved, which can be regarded as ghost-axe and god-worker. In the evening, under the illumination of the light, the Yinsi Temple looks more beautiful. Red, orange, blue, green light conversion gives people a wonderful visual impact, purple makes people feel elegant. In this all-silver hall, only the Buddha statues worshipped inside are not silver. Women are forbidden to enter the temple hall. Legend has it that 500 years ago, sacred objects such as incantations and amulets were buried under the Silver Temple. According to Lanner tradition, if a lady entered this place, she might destroy magic instruments and hurt herself.
