There are innumerable temples in Chiang Mai. After many visits, Wat Umong is the most Buddhist temple among all temples. Situated at the foot of Su Tie Mountain, surrounded by forests and lakes, there is no golden-walled magnificent hall, no visitors, but there are stone gods left with traces of time, smart tree pigeons, gentle dogs and chickens with long legs. U Mong means "tunnel" in Thai. On both sides of the tunnel in the temple, there are many Buddhist shrine caves arranged in disorder. In the dark environment, there is a kind of seclusion. There are people practicing meditation in it. Wumeng Temple is also known as the best meditation temple in northern Thailand. Next time I have a chance, I want to sign up for a meditation course.
