There are only a few heavy mountains separated by Zhongshan in the waterway of Guazhou, Jingkou. Spring breeze is on the South Bank of the Green River. When will the moon shine on me? Located at the foot of Yuntai Mountain in the west of Zhenjiang City, Wang'an Shi Xijin Du Ancient Street is a historical relic built on the broken mountain trestle road. Xijin Du Ancient Street is the most preserved, concentrated and intact area of Zhenjiang's cultural relics and historic sites. It is the "context" of Zhenjiang's famous historical and cultural city. Xijin Du Ancient Street is about 1,000 meters long. It was founded in the Six Dynasties. It has been built in the Tang/Song/Yuan/Ming/Qing dynasties, leaving its present scale. Xijin Du: It was called "Garlic Mountain Du" in the Three Kingdoms, and "Jinling Du" in the Tang Dynasty, and "Xijin Du" only after the Song Dynasty. Ancient Street buildings are mostly relics of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Brick and wood structure, eaves carved window railings are painted vermilion, along the street you can clearly see "Chang'anli in the Spring of the First Year of the Republic of China", "Giri West Street 1914", "De'anli" and other topics. The deep ruts on the bluestone pavement testify to the prosperity of this millennium old crossing and millennium old street. The two-storey buildings, the eaves of the pavilion, the carvings on the windows, the mottled counter and the ten-plank door of the Chinese fir are scattered together. Walking along the ancient street, it seems like walking in a natural history museum. Xijindu Cultural Block can also be visited: the Lifesaving Society, which was built in the 31st year of Kangxi (1693) and has a history of more than 300 years; the only well-preserved and oldest stone pagoda crossing the street in China, the Zhaoguan stone pagoda; Guanyin Cave, Waiting Pavilion, Chaoshan Temple, the old site of the British Consulate in Zhenjiang.

At a glance, the millennium ~ Zhenjiang Xijindu ⛲️ Xijindu was founded in the three countries. This is the Yangtze River Ferry, the traffic throat, and the only ferry to Jiangbei. Xijindu is different from other Jiangnan towns. There is no water here, full of blue stone roads and blue brick city walls. In the softness of the traditional Jiangnan town, it is harder and more unique. Today, Xijindu has downplayed the function of the ferry, strolling in the simple and elegant ancient streets, leisurely slow pace of life, very recommended.

The blue brick and gray tile houses are large, with slabs paving the road and antique. The different styles of shops also create a strong and elegant business atmosphere, which is really unique.

It's just a long blue stone-paved ancient street with various merchants on both sides. There are not many people who are quiet and very quiet, and it's good to stroll slowly. The current scenic spot is seriously commercialized regardless of the size of the nameless scenic spot, and it is not easy for people in the scenic spot to ask for life.

A very uncommercial ancient town, there are not many shops, and the popularity is really not strong. If you want to experience the feeling of Bao Ancient Town, then come to Xijindu! If it is not Friday, Saturday, plus rain, most stores will be closed at 5 or 6 pm, very deserted. If it doesn't rain on Friday and Saturday, there is a night market! We stayed for 3 days, 2 days rain, and the sun father-in-law finally went to work on the last day, and it felt much better. If you want to see the whole picture, you can climb halfway up the mountain, without climbing to Yuntai Pavilion. It's just mosquitoes that's quite a lot... a few pictures of the kung fu, two legs of the bag...
