Yan'an is a sacred place of Chinese revolution. The Party Central Committee, Mao Zedong and other older generations of proletarian revolutionists lived and fought for thirteen years in Yan'an and Northern Shaanxi. They led the Chinese people to great victories in the War of Resistance Against Japan and the War of Liberation, formed great Mao Zedong Thought and nurtured the spirit of Yan'an. In order to show the great achievements of the CPC Central Committee in leading the Chinese revolution in Yan'an and Northern Shaanxi, the Yan'an Revolution Memorial Hall was established as early as July 1950, which is one of the earliest revolutionary memorial halls built after the founding of New China. It provides us with valuable information for studying the history of Chinese revolution, studying the history of revolution in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region and carrying out revolutionary traditional education.
