The Old Wall of York, the longest and most complete medieval wall in Britain, was first built by the Romans and then reinforced by the occupiers from Denmark as a barrier against foreign enemies. From the Yorkshire Railway Station into the city, you can see the city wall, which is 5 kilometers long. It takes about 2 hours to walk around the city wall. We only walk two sections of the ancient city wall. The city wall near the Yorkshire Cathedral can enjoy the view of the Yorkshire Cathedral along the way.
