Yu Garden Review

Yu Garden, located at No. 168 Fuyou Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai, was built in Jiajing and Wanli years in the Ming Dynasty. It was originally a private garden built by Pan Yunduan for his father's old age. During the second half of the 19th century to the founding of the People's Republic of China, the modern war and the Cultural Revolution "broken four old" caused serious damage to the garden. From 1956 to 1986, Yu Garden experienced many restorations and renovations, and officially opened in 1961.

Sansuitang has water, forests and pavilions; the collection building and the Deyue building are full of water waves, and the algae is colorful; there is a gas-plastic dragon sculpture near the ancient stage, which is a place for tourists to punch in. The snacks in Yuyuan Garden are also very historical.

Very good garden, very well protected, today I saw the staff doing sanitation to the ancient buildings, they are very careful, work too seriously, moved! ! ! This is a very distinctive Jiangnan garden, not the same as the gardens in Suzhou.

A very beautiful place specially during the chinese new year. I went there to see the different lanterns they prepared for the special occasion 💜.
