The palace of Zizhuyuan is the place where the emperor of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty accompanied the queen to Wanshou Temple and Suzhou Street. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and was originally the lower house of Wanshou Mountain in the Ming Dynasty. After the looting of the eight-country coalition forces and the occupation of the Japanese army, only the Baoen Building, the front hall, the Shanmen District and some houses across the courtyard were left when Beiping was liberated. Zizhuyuan Park was repaired and rebuilt in 2009.
