This small, half-street-level gem looks like it hasn't changed since the end of the eighteenth century, but the food, drink and service are modern and excellent. The bartender/waiter was friendly, spoke better English than me, immediately served us beer, gave us a basic translation of the menu options, and we quickly got the sandwiches. They have a ready-made few local beers, plus bottles - Albany mosaic IPA others are our favorite. The sandwich trio includes (a) shrimp and eggs, (b) bacon and potatoes, (c) apples, ham and spicy root. I love shrimp/eggs the best but they are all delicious and not expensive by Danish standards. We thought we were having snacks but the portion was big and turned into lunch. I will go back tomorrow if I can.
