It is one of the eight buildings in Beijing. It opened in 1853 in Qingxianfeng. It was originally in Tianjin. It was moved to Li Tieguai Xie Street outside Hepingmen in Beijing in 1955 and to West Chang'an Street in 1963. It is a Muslim halal dish, chicken stewed shark fin, braised sheep tail, hooves, etc. are known as the first halal restaurant in Beijing.
