Osteria del Principe Review

First of all I am Italian, and what intrigued me from Osteria del Principe is the variety of Prosciutto and Salumi products they offer. My friend and I started with a Spritz Aperol Cocktail (the italian way) accompanied with a Tagliere Principe which offered 3 kinds of salumi and two kinds of cheese. The perfect amount for 2 people and a feast for our tastebuds!!! We then ordered a Risotto ai Porcini to share which had an intense smell of Porcini mushrooms, it was creamy and the rice perfectly cooked! However, the highlight of the dinner was with no doubt the Goulash alla Triestina which had the same flavor of the goulash my grandmother used to make <3 I will definitely come back for lunch to check out how they make the piadina!

We went on an evening where the bar area had a DJ, and it was bustling with euro-type clientele. The music was so loud it was difficult to enjoy yourselves in the dining room. And the dining room itself was somewhat lacking in character. We read that this place had good meats and so we tried them. It so good, but not out of this world. Our main course was good but not memorable. The service was very attentive, so credit has to be given there.
