My daughter and I sat on a bench in Midtown searching the internet for a good pizza place. We weren't into the slick, glass-walled pizza joints in the area and liked the sound of this place. So a few subway stops and blocks of walking later we were in the Lower East Side at this historic, charming restaurant. We ordered their thin crust square Margherita Pizza and a local Pilsner. It was very good and really hit the spot. The bartender/waiter was engaging, the place had a a really warm ambiance. This restaurant has the kind of character that makes it memorable for travelers. Thanks for making our experience so pleasant.
