Some places just don't know how to make a panino anymore. La Panineria can make you possibly the best panino you can find in NYC, let alone, probably in the USA. All the ingredients are simple, healthy and either local or imported. Either Giuseppe, Marco or Olga always make me a ciabatta panino with prosciutto di parma DOP, mozzarella di bufala DOP, fresh basil, organic tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil (the Peppe). They have italian beers and wine too, which beauituflly complement the panini. Great place to order and talk in italian and ultimately, eat real authentic food! Taste the panini!

Great fresh Sandwiches ... The free beverage with purchase is a nice addition. Why not grab one and head out to the Washington Square Park.

Happened to stop by while in the area and was very happy I did. I got the Super Mario sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The meat they used is fresh and authentic, not some generic type. The fresh mozzarella was great and the ciabatta bread was perfect. The menu was very extensive with great Italian meats. The staff was friendly and helpful and I look forward to returning.

Really, really lovely Italian sandwiches/paninis. Just like being in Italy - chewy bread, salty prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, crisp arugula and rich olive oil. My husband had salami and provolone and adored his as well. Quality ingredients and beautiful in their simplicity. Small space, but great for grabbing a quick bite or take-out. We had an early lunch before heading to the airport. My sandwich was $13 (drink included) and worth every penny. Highly recommend!
