Last Sunday, we had a family lunch at Lok Wah Hin, Novotel at Siam Square. We chose to have A LA CARTE dimsum menu due to its variety. We started our meal with basic Shrimp Hakao and Shumai with lots of choices; crab, shrimp, pork and vegetable. After the basic menu, we ordered some sort of quite unique menu e.g. White Chinese Chives Dumpling, Rice Noodle Crepe with Grilled Duck, Scallop Shumai and etc. The food presentation was traditional Chinese style, but all food was neatly prepared and served hot right after it's done. We couldn't say it's the world best dimsum, but it is one of the top dimsum restaurants in Bangkok. On that day, we also tried Special Set Menu, "Szechuan Set", which were composed of 7 dishes, including dessert, fried banana with ice-cream. The set menu was also nice and tasty and was good for either individual or sharing. I have only two small points of concern,(1) the waitress often mistaken refilled the drinks; Chrysanthemum and Tea and (2) the waiting time for dessert was slightly long. Anyway, those small flaws would not prevent me to go back there again.
