Second visit to kani doraku. First time, shared a 8500 yen set with friend, food was great, okay amount to share for two female. Quality was good as this was one of the more expensive set. Encore and went again 30 mins before closing, bad idea. Because was solo, so ordered a 6500 yen set before tax, quality was way worse. I def recommend ordering the 8500 yen set and not anything cheaper. Toward the end of the meal, after I finished eating the sushi, which fell apart when I tried to eat. I found a short, thick, curved hair on my plate where the sushi fell. I was very upset and let the waiter know. He took the plate and asked me which plate the hair came from, I told him I think it was the sushi (probably the cheapest thing from the set). He tried to get me a new plate of sushi, but kitchen's closed, so I said just give me a small discount then. And he gave me a 378 yen discount out of a 7000 yen bill, he claimed that was the value of the sushi. I was like fine, I decided never to go back to this restaurant and didn't want to haggle over a discount. No discount is worth having a curved hair in, I gave them a chance to give me justice and clearly justice was not served.
