Siam Samrarn Review

We had a family and friends reunion at this restaurant. The food was okay and the service was generally quick but we will never go back there because the manager was very rude and it seems he did not know an appropriate way to talk to customers. We brought our children and the youngest one was 2 years old. As you can imagine, dining out with small children can be challenging for parents. After meal, despite of our much effort, our youngest child wanted to leave the table to explore the restaurant. Most of the time, we managed to keep her in the area where there was no customer or staff. A few times, she wandered around in the restaurant but an adult from our group closely followed her and supervised her AT ALL TIME. The manager then came and said to us: "PLEASE LOOK AFTER YOUR CHILD." in a rude and unfriendly manner. We understand the safety issues but then he could have said something like "Could you try not to let your child walk around in the restaurant as it is dangerous?" Instead, he accused us as if we did not take care of our children!! We pointed out what he said to us and the way he said it was not polite, but he did not listen to us at all. In fact, instead he said "YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO ME". We enjoyed our reunion with friends and family until the moment but he ruined the special evening. I do not even consider giving them a second chance. This kind of waiting staff discourages parents with small children to enjoy dining out like everybody else.
