We were recommended this place by our local cycling tour guide. This is a small restaurant occupying a corner plot along the road leading to Shirogane. Opposite, rice fields stretch out as far as the eye can see. There are approximately 20 seats within, hence, we had to wait for about 20 minutes before getting our tables. The restaurant has full length windows facing the rice plantation (which had beautiful golden yellow hues when we were there), and decorated with pretty hand sewn quilts and wooden handicraft of butterflies, birds, animals etc, all made by locals. The vegetable curry was very popular, almost every patron had ordered this dish. I ordered the hash beef omu rice which was very good. The pumpkin stew which we attempted to order was sold out. All main dishes come with a side salad. We could tell that the menu was comprised of fresh local vegetables and popular with the locals.
