This restaurant is easy to locate. Exit FuranoJR station, cross the road with a traffic light, walk straight down the road which has the "Suzuran Street" sign hanging over, and walk for about 15 minutes and you'll see a single storey green building that is the restaurant. They have menus in English and the service is brisk. They have half-and-half options, for example we ordered a donburi and soba set, which are both smaller than normal servings but are very filling for one person. The average price per pax would be ¥800. The soba broth is comforting and warm, and it appears that MSG (ajinomoto) is not used, so bonus points for this restaurant. It is a family friendly restaurant and there was no queue when we went at 7pm, but there was already a sizable crowd of local patrons tucking into bowls of steaming soba.

When you go to this Japanese restaurant, you know what food you need to order. The Joe Mai noodles here are almost every table of people. The taste is very good, and the fried pork dumplings are also very delicious!
