The starting point of the Piazza di Spagna is the Trinità dei Monti Church, which in and of itself is not very impressive, but due to being featured in the film “Roman Holiday,” with Audrey Hepburn eating ice cream on the Spanish Steps, this site became a scenic spot that is known by all. Via dei Condotti, facing the Spanish Steps, is quite narrow, and has all of the luxury brands and flagship stores that you know! They are all here. Bulgari’s first shop is even nearby. Apart from this, the Fontana della Barcaccia which is at the foot of the Spanish Steps, has an unusual shape, and was designed by Pietro Bernini. After walking until I was tired, there was no harm in stopping at a nearby Caffe Greco and ordering a cup of coffee. This oldest of cafes in Rome attracts a great number of visitors seeking to make a pilgrimage.
