in my opinion, this is one of the most beautiful places to see in rome, is a park full of greenery, situated on a hill near Trastevere, a very romantic place, where you can see all of Rome at night with its lights, or day, a great view, a lasting memory of your vacation .... and soon after, you can go down to Trastevere, the old roma, dope can taste the typical Roman cuisine, and stroll through the narrow and ancient streets of the neighborhood where there are no shops open until midnight .. just great!!
The top of Gianicolo is a romantic place, a park rising high above Trastevere that offers a panoramic view of Rome. Couples kiss along a railing already marked by numerous love dedications while kids run about the numerous statues around the area. A convenient bus runs up and down the Passeggiata del Gianicolo, making it easy to scale Rome's second-tallest hill.
Ginicolo has many small hidden historical sculptures in Rome. The history of the lighthouse dates back to 1911. The material is marble, and it is also the fiftieth anniversary of the unification of Italy. About 20 meters high, inspired by the form of classical art, there is also a historical prison built by Argentine immigrants donated money.
Popular lookout point that offers a great view of the city center.
Take a walk up the hill beyond the Vatican. Lovely gardens with a great view of the city.
Climb the Gianicolo for one of the best panoramic views of Rome.
the super romantique view on all the roofs of roma . you should go for a look
You can enjoy an amazing view of Rome
The Janiculum (Gianicolo in Italian) is a hill in western Rome, Italy. Although the second-tallest hill (the tallest being Monte Mario) in the contemporary city of Rome, the Janiculum does not figure among the proverbial Seven Hills of Rome, being west of the Tiber and outside the boundaries of the ancient city. The Hill is the location of the American University of Rome, Pontifical Urban University, and Pontifical North American College, as well as the Orto Botanico dell'Università di Roma "La Sapienza" and the Palazzo Montorio, residence of the Ambassadors of Spain.
the most beautiful vew of Rome!
