Piazza Navona is situated in the central area of Historic District of Rome, beside Pantheon. The three fountains in the plaza are rare artworks, while the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi at the center of plaza was designed by master sculpist Bernini. The latter has four human sculptures, symbolizing the four heavenly rivers. Across from the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi is Sant'Agnese Church. Its front side was designed by Baroque architect Borromini. The circular vault and the angel relief are very intricate and beautiful.
