We ate at Il Gozzo a few years ago when we visited Salerno and loved it! We just went back and it was as good as the first time! Great ambiance, wonderful service, and excellent food!

Pros* We booked Santa Maria de Domno for Christmas day lunch through &quot;The Fork&quot;, very easy with confirmation e-mails.* We had a slight concern after cancellation of our Boxing day restaurant so called in a couple of days before to be greeted by very friendly staff who confirmed all was ok and even checked dietary needs,* Christmas Day lunch was superb, brilliant staff and lovely food, couldn&#39;t fault it.* Lovely location in the centro storico of SalernoCons* None really, apart from being closed when we wanted to go back !! ....... fully recommend this restaurant to &quot;the fork&quot; members.Pete F. Food quality is excellent as always, well-made and well-presented pans. The negative note is that on Saturday night we book on the fork to have the certainty of finding a place and not waiting at the cold, one person arrives before the others to the room and asks for booking but the person who took it said that not accept bookings. The absurd thing is that 10 minutes earlier we had called to ask for confirmation and warning that we were late and they assured us also asking &quot;you booked on the fork?&quot; so, in the absence of misunderstanding, they had received the reservation. For the rest, I advise this room and we will certainly come back, but we need to pay attention to booking management and communication between staff members and with customers.

Wonderful dining experience! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the wine selections, and all of the food was amazing! We had the eggplant Parmesan, chicken cacciatore, fresh chips and sausage broccoli, and it was all superb! Very attentive service and the tiramisu for dessert was delicious! Great indoor ambiance and located on a quiet street just off of one of the main roads, would definitely come back!

When we arrived at the restaurant, they didnt acknowledge our reservation although I showed them the email confirnation. Very unprofessional attitude, do not recommend.

The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. Excellent frittage, pizzas with their special meal and very good taste also cooks recommended by the staff.

If you want fresh seafood and local wine this is the place . The staff are brilliant and we felt like they wanted us to share an experience. Angelo was so helpful. Would highly recommend.

I am disappointed to have to leave a less than stellar review. The staff was very friendly and the meal started off fantastic with a complimentary Prosecco and Parmesan bite. One of the pastas we had was good (not great) but the ravioli was not ideal. All seafood we had was undercooked. Maybe that&rsquo;s a norm for Italy but after a few hours my stomach began the fight of its life. I am fairly confident it was due to the undercooked shellfish. Ambiance was nice! We ate outside due to COVID but would have enjoyed the indoors as well if we felt safe doing so.

Posto un po&rsquo; nascosto ma sicuramente carino, accogliente, pulito. Staff preparato, piatti superlativi, eravamo i  7 e siamo rimasti estasiati. Tutto fresco, piatti strepitosi, un&rsquo;esperienza di gusto stupefacente dall&rsquo;antipasto al dolce. Contenti e&rsquo; dire poco.

A little hidden but surely nice, comfortable, clean. Staff prepared, superlative dishes, we were the 7 and we were excited. All fresh, stripped dishes, a stunning taste experience from the dishes to the sweet. Content is to say little.
