What people are saying:

I went to Stonehenge with great anticipation. The wind of Stonehenge blows and blows, and blows and blows... It’s not covered. A piece of stone stands on a verdant green grass. The time has been cut off its sharp edges and corners, and the moss has climbed onto the gray The rock was dried again. Worth coming!

    Great place to visit

Great place to visit. The visitor centre is a great improvement and the exhibitions are very good. Staff are polite. The prices could be cheaper, the cost of food is very high.

    Amazing early morning tour

I highly recommend this tour where you can visit the site in a small group before it opens. It was magical. And our guide Chris was very informative. Well worth the money.

    Expensive

Very expensive to see what should be free of charge. We refused to pay and a simple Google search shows a public footpath that gets you close enough!

    Bad start

The website needs an update.... the digital tickets which you get on email are not available ... even if it says “no need to print” you have to walk 30 min to the visitor centre just to print tickets ...

Additional Information

Introduction

Stonehenge is located on the plains of Salisbury, southeast of Bath, England. It was built in about 4000-2000 B.C. In 1130, a British priest happened upon Stonehenge when he was out walking. The magnificent stones each weigh nearly 30 tons on average, and their arrangement and intended use still largely remains a mystery.
