Glad we took the time to get past. The journey begins when you enter the house and walk through the lovely living room, which is filled with beautiful old furniture, dishes, paintings on the walls and continue to browse the historical information of the Indian tribes in the area. I was also pleased to see the types of merchandise sold, including fabric bolts and various animal skins. A very beautiful and interesting historic home! Free entry.

Located in the old city of San Diego, the museum is a small museum converted from the former residence of a local congressman, McCoy. The Museum introduces the life story of the congressman, as well as some local history. You can drop in and have a look.
The McCoy House was built in 1869 for San Diego's Sheriff, James McCoy. The Greek Revival architectural style of this reconstructed two-story home with a column front porch was very popular among 19th-century Americans. This musuem has many displays and exhibits detailing the early years of San Diego's history.
