There are many skulls of mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles, dinosaur fossils, various animal specimens, skeletons of animals and birds, gems and minerals, and a series of photographs in the museum. In addition, there is a 3D theater with a huge screen, which plays movies related to the natural world and earth science. It's worth seeing.
It has to be said that the population is scarce, the air is fresh and the history is preserved, but mainly in the 19th century, and the history of destruction is not much to see. The depth of history is also preserved in the nineteenth century, churches, plants, sunshine is still there, bloody, barbaric, destruction has long been invisible. But the sunshine and leisure of life make people forget everything. The beauty of nature has solved many problems.
Tickets include all performances, and I strongly recommend watching them in theatres! ___________ I enjoyed all my performances while I was there. The museum itself is quite amazing, with exhibitions and stories. It's a great way to spend half a day, especially for parents with children.
I LOVE this museum. It's not just artifacts sitting in glass cases - it's interactive, stimulating, and even exciting exhibits that educate and inform and keep you interested. They have a giant screen theater, which is my favorite - I've seen ocean documentaries, Disney's Earth, 3D Dinosaurs, and a space movie when I was younger - and I've loved them all. You really get into the exhibit (or movie) and actually have fun. Their exhibits are often temporary, though, which is good and bad: it keeps locals coming back, but visitors get what they offer when they visit. Chances are you'll have a good variety to choose from, though!P.S. I second Rachel's comment about the Dead Sea Scrolls - those were a HUGE success (with even bigger crowds) a few years ago, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience absolutely worth seeing. I hope they come back someday.
A really great museum for children and adults! Artwork, artifacts and interactive exhibits make this a perfect outing. Not cheap, but affordable and worth the price! It's very easy to find and they offer group pricing (over 10 persons) and student discounts are available too!
