Red Beach is not as famous as Blue-top Church, but it should also be a place worth visiting on the Sacred Island. Because the beach is close to the red rock wall, the beach is full of red sand and stone. Red beach harbour, the water is particularly clear, suitable for swimming and snorkeling, also suitable for wading and hiking, is very worth visiting.
Red minerals accumulated by mountain eruptions eroded by sea water form the unique red beach of Santorini, which is a beautiful beach with charming scenery and isolation from the world. It's very inconvenient to go to Red Sand Beach. We went there with the tour group. There was no road leading to it. Our car stopped by a cliff and the tour guide crossed the mountains to get there. Unfortunately, I didn't go down to the red beach, just took a long view near the red beach, but the scenery is really beautiful, blue sea water, iron sand palm type beach azure sky... Very happy, just now it was sunny, suddenly it began to rain, and then with the rain silk, the rainbow appeared, a large group of adults like children cheered magpies.
Santorini has not only black beaches, but also red beaches. Red Beach is located in the south of Santorini Island, Greece. It is a beautiful beach with charming scenery and isolation. There is a large area of red bare rock, where the rock is rich in iron, so it presents a charming red, in the sunshine appears more magical and dazzling. The purple-sauce red sandy rocks and the blue Aegean water are interdependent, which makes them more dignified and atmospheric.
Driving around the island, I went to Red Beach and Black Beach. Black sand beach is a long black sand beach formed by the black sand deposited by volcanic ash after the eruption of volcanic island. It is also said to have cosmetic effect. Red sand beach has a large area of red bare rock. Rocks are rich in iron, so they show charming red, which is more magical and dazzling in the sunshine.
Compared with the two black beaches, this red stone beach is much more interesting. The cliff formed by huge red stones still needs to climb a short distance mountain road before reaching the beach. This mountain road is not easy to walk. The sandstone is slippery. The flip flops are definitely not good. We must wear heel shoes. The red sand beach after climbing the Red Stone Mountain is very interesting, and the red boulder with the beach is quite shocking.
At the end of the museum tour, we walked to the nearby Red Sand Beach, a bay under a red rock, so it is also a red beach. Although the beach is Sandy and stony, it does not affect people's interest in seeing it, so there are more tourists here than in museums, especially many Chinese tourists. Along the road leading to the red beach, a Greek folk musician stood barefoot with a violin, and melodious Greek music came from the loudspeaker beside him. He sells his CD recordings by performing live. It happens that a group of Chinese students came here. Perhaps they were attracted by the deep and happy music, and they all gave generously to buy CD recordings. Many people took the initiative to take pictures with young people playing the violin. Music broke through the barriers of nationality and language and really became a link connecting people's hearts. After leaving Hongshi Beach, we returned to the museum door about 15 minutes on foot. After a short wait, we took a regular bus back to Ferra Town Bus Station.
The rocks here, rich in iron, show a charming red color, which is very dazzling in the sunshine. There are only two places in the world, one of which, I think, is a must-see spot in Santorini. It's still cold in April, so we can't go into the water, and we haven't crossed the path to the beach. But climbing up the hill, overlooking 360 degrees around the beautiful scenery, has a different flavor.
The rocks here are rich in iron, charming red, and dazzling in the sunshine. There are only two such beaches in the world. I personally think that Santorini can not miss one of the attractions. No tickets, you can cross the path to the beach, or climb the top of the mountain, overlooking the 360-degree view, about 7.2 kilometers away from the black beach of Beri Sand.
