You'll regret not visiting the free attractions in Sanya, and once you do, you'll want to come back
🌟Highlights: Beautiful scenery, 5A-level scenic area and it's free
🗓Itinerary: One day trip to Nanshan Temple - Tianya Town - Tianya Haijiao
📍Detailed address: Nanshan Temple, Tianya Town (Blue and White Town), Tianya Haijiao
🧳Preparations before departure: Sun protection clothing, sunscreen🧴slippers, and if you have children, bring two sets of spare clothes👕
🚉Travel tips: We rented a BYD electric car on Ctrip for 150 yuan a day with full insurance, which would be around 80 yuan without the insurance. To avoid unnecessary trouble, I chose the full insurance! Since we were staying near the Yemeng Gallery, a taxi to Nanshan Temple would cost 70 yuan for over 30 kilometers, which would be 150 yuan for a round trip, so I chose to rent a car. It's more convenient to go anywhere, and there are many parking spaces on the side of the road in Sanya. Even if there are no lines, many cars are parked. I didn't park there, but the parking lot🅿️ is very cheap, only four yuan for four hours, which is quite affordable!
Nanshan Temple: You can reserve tickets online for free, it's best to book one day in advance, and it's best to arrive at the scenic area before 9:30 am. After 10 am, there will be a lot of people and parking will be tight. The scenic area is particularly large, and you can choose to take a shuttle bus or walk🚶. We followed the principle of playing wherever we walked, and when we got tired, we walked back! So we chose to walk! Nanshan Temple Scenic Area is known for its beautiful sea, mountain, and rock views, and is called the number one scenic spot in Qiongya. As soon as you enter the scenic area, you can see the most popular check-in spot on social media, with many taking wedding photos! There are many photo📷 spots inside that are roped off and charge money, but we didn't take any photos at the paid spots, focusing on saving money
Tianya Town - 22 kilometers by car🚗30min from Nanshan Temple, we didn't stop by the roadside, but found a paid parking lot🅿️ right opposite the west gate of Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area. Parking is very cheap, and then it's at most a 10min walk to the town. We had a meal first, there's a Northeastern Chinese restaurant on the side of the road that's quite good and reasonably priced.
After the meal, we strolled around the town. Tianya Town is not very large, divided into several blocks, with many boutique homestays and cafes by the sea, all good for taking photos📷. On the beach🏖️, there are jet skis🛥️, sailboats⛵️, and surfing🏄. We spent two hours there with the kids, and it was quite nice!
Tianya Haijiao - We walked out of the town and reached the west gate of Tianya Haijiao in 10min! Tianya Haijiao is also a free scenic area. Now you can reserve free tickets online, and then you have to go to the service desk💁 to have the staff verify them, otherwise, you can't enter. After 5:30 pm, they won't let you into the scenic area, remember that! We entered at 5 pm and there were very few people at the west gate, almost no one! We enjoyed taking photos📷. The sunset at Tianya Haijiao is nice, the scenic area is very large, and we didn't walk all of it. With kids, we just went with the flow. The kids have a special fondness for the beach🏝️ and played with the sand by the seaside.
The whole town is in a unified style, generally two-story and three-story buildings, white light yellow walls, blue gates, windows. There are flowers on the balcony, and the style is like a foreign town. The street name is very distinctive, Qinglong, Huanglong, Red Dragon, Black Dragon, Bailong Street. Every street can go to the sea.
A Greek village full of charm it’s definitely a day trip , this Greek restaurant was pretty good. Its a nice place to enjoy some walks and a greek vibes
After entering Tianya Town, it feels like crossing. The back of the domineering archway is full of small freshness, white walls, blue windows, green leaves floating. This is the real characteristics of Tianya. It is known as the most similar blue and white town in Greece. There is a small Santorini. The house is in different shapes, but it is all white walls and blue windows. Some have been converted into restaurants and homestays, but most of the buildings are still home to indigenous residents.
When I went there were not many people, and some shops were very good. For example, the service attitude of the store "Goodbye" was very good. It was not bad to sit on the balcony and blow the sea breeze at their home. The price is normal, after all, it is a scenic spot. And some shops are very pitted, such as their fruit cutting plate, 15 yuan two boxes feel not very cost-effective? As a result, a box of fruit is a large box set of small packaging boxes. A box of thin mango slices has three mango cores in the indiscriminate charging. I went to the boss. As a result, the boss said that they are all like this here. I go anywhere to buy it. Not only is her family mango cut plate even sold. In order not to affect everyone's travel mood, I did not continue to argue with the boss, just to avoid a pit for everyone, it is best to ask clearly before buying fruit, to avoid being fooled.
Very quiet town, the streets are still being renovated, the houses on the beach are all white, very beautiful.
Very literary town, especially film, conscience recommended
Tianya Town, Sanya City, Hainan Island, is a very interesting tourist attraction. The whole town has changed to blue and white paint. The doors and windows are blue, and there are murals on large walls. Plus, it is close to the sea. It does have a Mediterranean style. It is known as Santorini in Sanya. But after all, it is still the original fishing village foundation, and the price is not bad for walking around.
