Absolutely worth the trip. The three-kilometer walk back and forth is a bit monotonous, a bit steep at the end, but not too difficult. The waterfall at the end makes all this hard work worth it. Fortunately, it just rained when we went, so the waterfall flow was relatively large. Unfortunately, due to the rapid water flow, we can not go swimming, but I believe that when the waterfall flow is small, this will be a good place to swim.

The hike is set to 3km each way. The trails are laid out so you don't have to trek through the rainforest. The steep slope makes our heart beat faster, but it's not a particularly difficult hike (we're all in good health). The waterfall and pool are totally worth the long trek and feel the water is extra cool after hiking. Swimming against the water flow at the bottom of the waterfall is fun, and of course there is a place where there is no water flow to swim.
The waterfall flow is not very large, and the rainfall in Cairns is not very large. So it is good to have such a flow.
