This ancient cemetery is reminiscent of the citizens who helped develop Cairns. Many graves and plaques provide detailed information on occupations and causes of death. The efforts of the local historical society to restore this important history should be congratulated. They built a rotunda in the middle of the cemetery, listing the names and details of many of the people buried there. It is well worth a visit and the custodians of other cemeteries can learn from it.

Rainforest Village Town Colenda is located 18 km away from Keynes. Apart from experiencing the aboriginal culture of Australia, it can also paddle along the river in a canoe and shuttle through the forest to enjoy the magnificent scenery.
Keynes's hotel is right on one street! ___________ Shangri-La, Hilton Hotel and so on are all over here. It's about ten minutes'walk from the wharf. Crossing the road is the beach, but not suitable for swimming. Small mud crabs on the beach are digging their nests. A biology class is good.
A great walk. It was very interesting to see all the history. I had a morbid curiosity about death so maybe only me. But it was beautiful. During our stay in Cairns we rented a bike and went on a tour alone. We were here a few years ago and we wanted to see it again.
Very good hotel street, not far across the road is the beach and the sea, here there is a free hour of Internet access, only once a day ah! ___________
