had dinner with another couple, it was a great night! However, after reading all the reviews I expected the food to be a bit better.

Hamachi

We had a lovely date night at Hamachi. The food was as close to Japanese food in JP as it can be. Everyone on staff was friendly, attentive, and discreet as to not interfere with our private dining. Very cosy and warm atmosphere. We enjoyed our time here and would love to make another reserveration for our next date night.

It&rsquo;s a great restaurant, located in a quiet street next to the river. The food is made with fresh ingredients. Very nice ambiance. Totally enjoyed it.

Very friendly staff and delicious sushi with all fresh ingredients made with love.

Looks basic from the outside, but it&#39;s a small restaurant with a nice setting. Can be loud with people around.Service was excellent, food was really good.  Sushi rolls were fresh and the 2-person menu had very long waiting times between courses but was excellent of taste.All in all, definitely recommended to visit!
