Great view point
To be honest, there isn't a lot left of the C11th castle apart from a few ruins around the flagpole. But it is worth the climb for the views across Dunoon.

View from the hill
Worth a climb up the hill at the castle. Stunning views. Castle itself has nice garden outside . Nice green for a picnic
Worth visiting even when closed
Really interesting history. Lovely architecture. Thought provoking. I was only able to see the outside as closed due to Covide19.
