for art and tea lovers
There are at least 3 museums with paintings here. I did not go in though since i wasn't gonna buy anything. They sell traditional tea here too.
Gyeongin Art Museum, located in the middle of Insa-dong, where people are always crowded. At first glance, it looks like an old traditional garden, but it is a place where various exhibitions are always held in several exhibition halls located inside. There is no entrance fee, so it is a very good place to stop by to avoid the noisy noise and relax for a while. There is also a tea house in the art museum and a chair to sit on.
Various works of art such as contemporary art, photography, tea ceremony, calligraphy are exhibited and some are sold. A traditional tea house is operated in a Korean-style house, and the space connecting about 5 galleries and tea houses is close to a Korean-style yard. Drinking tea in a Korean-style house and looking at the scenery outside makes your heart warm.
There are several exhibition halls, and admission is free. Usually, several individual exhibitions are held in each exhibition room, so it is recommended to drink tea in the traditional tea room in the yard when you want to rest after looking around. It is a few places with a less commercial feel in Insa-dong
