[Kunshan Park] was built in 1895, opened in 1898, when the original name of "Hongkou Park", is a children's park, commonly known as "Kunshan Garden". Mr. Lu Xun and his wife Xu Guangping brought their son Zhou Haiying here. On October 9, 1932, Lu Xun wrote in his diary that "in the morning, he took Haiying to Shimazaki Hospital with Guangping and visited the children's park." In 1934, this first-generation "Hongkou Park" was renamed "Kunshan Park" and has been used to this day. After a hundred years of vicissitudes, Kunshan Park returned from re-establishment in 2018. Combining the historical architectural style and current vegetation of the surrounding neighborhoods, the use of fragmented flower environment group forms, through the traditional flower environment materials of the English garden, to create an English garden theme atmosphere for this park. The iconic and colorful rose flowers are everywhere, adding a romantic atmosphere to this park without walls. There is also a century-old tree in the park, saponins, listed as the national second-level protection ancient tree, which can be said to be the "treasure of the town garden" of the whole park.
