From the appearance of the building, we can see that the protection is very good. The first floor can be opened to the outside world free of charge. There are exhibitions such as some furniture and household goods of old Shanghai in the attached drawings. The second floor has been converted into an old hotel, which is decorated in the old Shanghai style. We are a place of nostalgia for Shanghai people.
Now it has been changed to the old station restaurant in Shanghai, but there are still many old things in it, with old photos hanging on the wall. Seriously looking for it, I really found the old photograph of Notre Dame. It's interesting to have a look at the old buildings while eating in the historic neon enclosure.
Located in Xujiahuiyuan Scenic Area, the excellent historical building, formerly a French monastery, is now the Bengang Restaurant of Shanghai Old Station, with some old antiques and nostalgic style displayed on both sides of the gallery. There are also two promising train carriages on display in the courtyard. One is the Song Qingling train and the other is the train that Empress Dowager Cixi has sat on.
Notre Dame de Paris is now the old station hotel in Shanghai. Although it has changed its use, it is still open to visitors. Moreover, this attraction has been included in one of the joint ticket attractions of Xujiahuiyuan. There are not many places in it, but there are some old objects on display, which are worth visiting.
Now it's a restaurant and the visit time has to be two o'clock later.
Ancient and mysterious places are worth exploring! Take your little buddies with you to play now! ____________
On the opposite side of the road of the famous Xujiahui Catholic Church, but it's much lower-key. A white building with three or four floors is missing without notice. In fact, Notre Dame used to be very large, there are several houses, now only the main building, and now they have been converted into a restaurant called "Shanghai Old Station", which contains a lot of Shanghai in the 1930s and 1940s, without any religion.
I didn't notice the white building before. Later, when I navigated the map, I found that it was only one road away from Xujiahui Library. The white European-style building, with the green trees around it, seemed to be buried in a pile of high-rise buildings. Now the whole building has been rented out to the old station restaurant in Shanghai, and the nuns inside have moved to the Tang Tomb Bridge Heavenly Cathedral in Pudong.
Notre Dame is located opposite the Catholic Church of Xujiahui. It can be reached by foot through the subway pedestrian passage. It is very low-key and slightly old white houses. Some places have been requisitioned by businessmen. Some of them have exhibitions of antiques. The overall feeling is general.
The scenery is beautiful, but it's a little small. The roadside is convenient. There are many wedding photos.
