They called it The Bund Shanghai. It’s located at wài tān 外滩 district area. I went there after having coffee at Starbucks Roastery which was super big coffeeshop where I can see the roasting process of the coffee bean. Then I walk around 58 minutes to 外滩 area to see the very famous place in the world. It was such a great experience to see the beauty of this metropolitan place in China. I can see the building accross the huáng pû jiāng 黄浦江 and also those building are so fabulous in night time.. wish I could get back here again sometime! Thanks to Trip for the recommendation place for me.
A walk on the Bund is a total MUST when visiting Shanghai. It has beautiful views. I enjoy visiting the Bund before the building lights are switched on and I enjoy appreciating the buildings once the lights have been switched on. Oh and don't mind if someone asks to take a picture of/with you... sometimes they don't ask.
The visit to Shanghai is not complete sans a visit to the bund area. srroll along the nanpfu river with tall buildings adorning the skyline make you marvel at the archtectural might if the chinese. they stand testimony ti the econimic developments that china has achieved in the recent years. you can take the evening river cruise to enjoy the beautiful landscape.
Very impressive skyscraper buildings. The mixture of the new and old buildings made the whole area look so artzy. The old buildings have got so many stories behind. Each and every of the old buildings is a story teller by itself, that's how I feel about them, and I like the feelings.. Some can be very secretive :))
what an incredible experience. the lights, the buildings, the vibe. absolutely amazing and mesmerizing. we love shanghai so much we are considering relocating there next year :).. the bund get extremely busy but its still so easy to move around. its very safe as well with police on duty and directing traffic.
One of the most fascinating places to be visited here in shanghai. It boasts its high artistic buildings and mind blowing designs and structures!
It is the main area of shanghai and the most beautiful one. You can go to the Bund by walking through the Nanjing Road. Bund walk is recommended. You can experience fresh air on the bridge. You can watch skyscrapper buildings across the river. You can also take the boat in the night and enjoy the lights..
It is next to the 黄浦江 and the scenery without cruise is good enough. U see old n new skyscrapers, Nanjing pedestrian path. U can also cross the river by metro or use tourist tunnel where u can also visit other attractions. Across the river, u can choose to go up the buildings and walk on see through glass!
