Heping Dafeng Scenic Area

Dafeng Scenic Area, located in Chaoyang District, Shantou City, enjoys an advantageous geographical location and convenient transportation. It was created to commemorate the great monk Dafeng in the Song Dynasty. The overall scale of the scenic area is huge, covering an area of about 2.62 square kilometers. The Dafeng Zushi Pavilion, known as "the first stone and wood structure in eastern Guangdong", is the core planning scenic spot, attracting tourists. At the gate of the scenic spot, there is an archway pavilion inscribed by Ye Xuanping, the son of Ye Jianying and the former vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. The pavilion is about 16 meters high and consists of 168 large granite rocks. Visitors walk up the stairs, and you can see a large number of pavilions with different styles. The fountains on both sides of the stone level and the Jade Guanyin Health Pool are also among them, which are quite interesting against the green leaves and safflower.
