The legend of Pangu King Mountain is that the Pangu King Temple, also known as the Pangu Temple, was transformed from Pangu King. It is a famous tourist and climbing resort in Guangdong. The story of King Pangu opening up the heavens and the earth is widely circulated among the people. Famous scenic spots are: Banshan Pavilion, Longkou Spring, Shiping, "Pangu Yanxia" and so on. The Pangu Emperor Temple built here in the 14th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1809) is located at the foot of Pangu Huangshan Mountain. The existing altar was rebuilt in the 27th year of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1901) and is one of the famous cultural and artistic monuments in Guangdong. There is a lot of incense in the Pangu Temple, and people usually come to offer incense in an endless stream. The birthday of Pangu on August 20 of the lunar calendar and the Double Ninth Festival on the 9th of September of the lunar calendar are the most lively days in Pangu Huangshan.
