River2014.

Shenyang was called Shengjing, the capital before the Qing Dynasty, and a historical and cultural city. Many of Shenyang's ancient monuments are related to the early Qing Dynasty, such as the Shenyang Imperial Palace in the city center, alongside the Forbidden City in Beijing, and a Beiling Park that the locals are very familiar with. The official name of Beiling should be Qing Zhaoling, the tomb of the second emperor of the Qing Dynasty, known as the Northern Tomb. Covering an area of 160,000 square meters, Beiling is the largest and most magnificent of the three tombs. Beiling Park, built on Beiling, is the largest park in downtown Shenyang. Beiling was included in the World Cultural Heritage in 2004. The tomb remains intact. The ancient buildings and sites have not been interfered and changed by the descendants. The natural environment has remained basically original, and the degree of authenticity and integrity. Very high. Qing Zhaoling was built in the first year of Qing Shunzhi (1644), and was completed in the first year of Shunzhi (1651). Since then, Kangxi, Qianlong and Jiaqing have repeatedly rebuilt and expanded and formed the final appearance. There are 38 existing ancient buildings, which are symmetrically distributed with the Shinto as the central axis. The layout is regular and the layers are clear. The Qing Dynasty strictly protected the imperial tomb. There are special institutions and personnel here, and various festivals are held every year.
