Former School Site of Zhou Enlai of Shenyang

＂ Zhou Enlai's Former Reading Site ＂ is located at No. 10 Yucai Lane, Dadong Road, Shenyang City. It was originally ＂ Fengtian Province Guanli Dongguan Model Secondary School ＂, founded in 1910. From autumn 1910 to July 1913, Zhou Enlai, 12, transferred with his family from Tieling Yingang College to here, and spent three years of his teenage life studying. He experienced the Xinhai Revolution here, contacted progressive teachers, read progress books, was influenced by advanced ideas, and aspired to read for the rise of China until Zhou Enlai entered Tianjin Nankai School in 1913, leaving Shenyang. Zhou Enlai later recalled: ＂ At the age of 12, I left home to the northeast. This is the key to my life and ideological transformation. In 1978, the memorial hall of Comrade Zhou Enlai's Former Reading Site was established at the site.
