If you have enough time, you can go to the wet source observatory to see the virgin forest and snow. There is a viewing platform, forest trail, and a display hall. In winter, most of the forest trails are closed. There is a red-crowned crane viewing platform in the middle of the trail, and if you are lucky, you may see the red-crowned crane. However, if you really want to see the red-crowned crane on the road, you can go directly to the red-crowned crane International Center, where there are still a lot of red-crowned cranes, although it is natural, there are still a lot of red-crowned cranes here for food in winter. There is a bus on the crane line in the city of the road. There are not many shuttle buses, so you have to plan the return shuttle time in advance. Get off at the same station.

There are few artificially modified marks, completely retaining the original natural scenery. Most of the area is surrounded by reeds and some is covered with moss. The view is still spectacular from the observation deck.

This wetland is one of Hokkaido's precious natural resources. It raises many species, including the red-crowned crane, which is called the God of wetland by the Ainu people every year.
