Mushroom Jun's Asian travel
Japan, Yokohama
Thinking about the Japanese food culture, I made a special trip to see the Ramen Museum in Shin-Yokohama. The ingenuity here restores the market style of the 55th and 65th centuries. On the basement and second floor, there are eight ramen shops strictly selected from all over Japan, and they are really delicious!
Lunch time arrived here, it was not just tourists, the office workers who work around, are willing to buy a ticket, come in and taste the outstanding ramen representatives from all over Japan.
Point a bowl of Kumamoto's special ramen, the oil is very thick, although drinking a lot of ice water, but the taste in the mouth is still lingering. In order to allow visitors here to taste a few bowls of noodles, the store also launched a tasting version of the small bowl noodles.
Of course, outside the ramen, every scene in the Ramen Museum has truly restored the appearance of the streets of the twentieth century. Cigarette shops, traditional dim sum shops, and even baths are still spraying steam. The central square hosts various activities such as paper play and magic, so that guests in other locations are no longer so boring.
It was an amazing place in Shin-Yokohama.I don’t know the exact Showa Period but it was totally the same as my image. You can eat various Ramen if you want there!!There are also mini-size of Ramen so you can eat two or three types of Ramen and compare them. However, you only can use 'cash' there except when you buy some souvenirs at the shop.
New Yokohama Ramen Museum (New Yokohama ラーメン Museum), located in Gangbei District, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, opened in 1994. It is the first ramen theme amusement park in the world. The first floor is the ramen history exhibition area. Visitors can visit the exhibition area on the first floor to understand the history and culture of ramen. And the traditional and development of ramen materials, accessories, condiments and so on. In addition, there is a ramen production experience area on the first floor. Visitors can use the traditional Chinese "green bamboo noodles" method to make noodles and enjoy the fun of converting flour into ramen noodles. In addition, there is a nostalgic scene area, and the best ramen restaurants in the top ten in Japan have shops in the museum. One stop tasting.
Especially interesting museum, very small, very novel! There is a lot of ramen knowledge, ramen activities, and restaurants, a variety of ramen for visitors, very interesting!
