Suxian, located in the northeast of Anhui Province, is under the jurisdiction of Suzhou City, Anhui Province. It was formerly known as Hong County and Sizhou, and has a very long history. It was established as early as the Xia Dynasty and was originally the location of the Sizhou Prefecture. Suxian County has numerous cultural relics and tourist resources, including the only living site of the world cultural heritage Sui and Tang Grand Canal, the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage Sizhou Opera, the hometown of Chinese yam, Shilonghu National Wetland Park, Chinese medicinal cloth shoes, and the Northeast Anhui Revolutionary Base, known as the "six major business cards". Recently, I visited Sizhou County in Suzhou City, Anhui Province and visited the "Sizhou Museum", which left a particularly deep impression on us and gave us a more intuitive and in-depth understanding of Sizhou County. "The Museum of Sizhou" was originally named "The Museum of Sixian County". It is located on the south side of the Fuqian Square in Sixian County. It is a comprehensive cultural and tourist scenic spot that integrates the culture of the Grand Canal, the history of Sixian County, and the national intangible cultural heritage of Sizhou Opera. In 2021, "Sizhou Museum" has been rated as a national 3A-level tourist attraction, and it is also an important tourist destination that everyone must visit when they come to Sixian for sightseeing. "The Sizhou Museum" is divided into three floors, the first floor includes the lobby, stone carving exhibition hall, and temporary exhibition hall, mainly exhibiting important Han portrait stone carvings and inscriptions unearthed in Sixian County, as well as temporary exhibition activities. The second floor is the comprehensive history exhibition hall, mainly displaying the development of more than two thousand years of history in Sixian, introducing important cultural relics and ancient sites in Sixian, as well as the situation of the Grand Canal's Sixian section. The third floor is dedicated to the Sizhou Opera themed exhibition hall, the ancient shoe themed exhibition hall, and the intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall, mainly showcasing the intangible cultural heritage of Sixian County and related folk life. "The Sizhou Museum" relies on the Grand Canal of the Sui and Tang Dynasties to strengthen the protection and utilization of world cultural heritage, and strives to create high-quality tourism resources such as leisure tourism, practical activities, and study tours. When we are in the "Sizhou Museum", we can directly feel the unique historical and cultural charm of Sixian County.
